Mount Wilson Observatory Tour

TOUR | RALLY | LUNCH

In 1904 Dr. George Ellery Hale moved his 40” telescope from Wisconsin to the warmer weather and clearer skies of Southern California’s Mount Wilson which became the birthplace of American astrophysics research. Over 100 years later this facility is still studying the universe discovering new stars and planets as a working observatory. A visit to this facility reveals the amazing ingenuity of our country’s best scientific minds and the technology that fueled space exploration for the entire world.

Join us as we journey both into the past and to the future at the Mount Wilson Observatory.
