Come join us for the first organized driving event of the new Central Coast Chapter of FCA SW. We’re starting our drive with a tour of the fabulous Estrella Warbirds and Woodland Race Car Museum, (4251 Dry Creek Rd. - www.ewarbirds.org) in Paso Robles, followed by an enthusiastic drive on our great roads, culminating with lunch at the Long Branch Saloon in Creston.
For those wishing to get an early start, we’ll be meeting for breakfast at Joe’s One-Niner Diner in the Paso Robles Airport at 8 am (4912 Wing Way). We are scheduled to be at the museum at 10:00 am so please plan accordingly. [The restaurant is very close to the museum.]
While our Central Coast events are being set with the primary intent of providing club opportunities for those in the region that can’t make it to LA or San Francisco easily, we’d really hope to see southern and northern region members join us as well.
People interested in enjoying the many wine tasting opportunities in the Paso Robles AVA will be provided a list of recommended, car friendly wineries.
For anyone wishing to stay overnight, please contact the event organizers below for help with hotel recommendations.
Admission ($10) to the museums will be paid upon entry; and lunch at the Long Branch Saloon is $25.00 (alcohol not included) to be paid at the restaurant. Although space is not limited, the Long Branch has requested a headcount by March 9, so registration will close at that point.
We are looking forward to this event and hope many more will follow in the region between Monterey and Santa Barbara.
