McDonald's to McDonnell Douglas Planes of Fame Museum Run III

WHERE WARBIRDS FLY & AVIATION HISTORY LIVES

PLANES of FAME MUSEUM - PRESERVE / INSPIRE / EDUCATE / HONOR

Join Bill Makepeace and fellow FCA members for the third annual McDonald’s to Chino Airport event. This year we will leave the oldest existing McDonald’s restaurant in Downey and take back roads for a relaxing 60 minute drive to the oldest independently operated aviation museum in America: Planes of Fame Air Museum established in 1957.

Their mission is to preserve aviation history, inspire interest in aviation, educate the public, and honor
aviation pioneers and veterans. Planes of Fame has over 100 aircraft, many flyable, including all the famous ones and even some obscure “birds” from around the world which span the history of aviation.

In addition to museum entry we will enjoy: Reserved parking, Living History Flying Day featuring the Douglas AD-4 Skyraider. A speaker panel of distinguished aviation experts, historians and veterans is featured.
