Those classic GT40 race cars and Cobras in Ford v Ferrari aren't what they seem. The classic Carroll Shelby cars from the 1960s, can sell for upwards of millions of dollars, if you can find them.

For the movie, the filmmakers borrowed modern versions from Irvine-based Shelby Legendary Cars and its parent company, Superformance, the only companies in the world licensed to build and sell new versions of the Ford GT40s and Cobras that made Shelby a supercar superhero.

FCA-SW has arranged for a tour of Superformance's Irvine facility. There you can see how these modern versions of the Shelby classics are built and learn about their performance as they bridge the vintage and modern together. Several of the cars used from the Ford v Ferrari movie are on display. Lunch will be provided.

Due to limited space, only 30 registration spots are available and will fill quickly so sign up early. Ferrari parking available.

$20 per person for registration up through Feb. 29, 2020.
$30 per person thereafter through the March 10 deadline. No refunds.
