Blackbird Airpark & Joe Davies Heritage Airpark Private Event with the Ferrari Club

FCA-SW is pleased to announce an exciting new opportunity for our members to enjoy our cars in a safe & healthy outdoor environment at 2 historic locations. We will embark on a pleasant Angeles National Forest drive ending at the Edwards Air Force Base Flight Test Museum's Blackbird Airpark and Joe Davies Heritage Airpark complexes in Palmdale. Our group will be the only guests admitted.
Blackbird Airpark is an Annex of the Flight Test Museum at Edwards Air Force Base and has the world's only display of the legendary SR-71 Blackbird with its predecessor the A-12 CIA Reconnaissance Aircraft, plus the once top secret D-21 Drone and the only remaining U-2 "D" Spy Plane in the world.
Joe Davies Heritage Airpark, next door to Blackbird Airpark has 21 retired Military aircraft including F-100 Super Sabre, F-104 Starfighter, F-105 Thunderchief, F-14 Tomcat, F-16 Fighting Falcon plus the 747 Shuttle Transport carrier and a very cool 1/8 scale model of the B-2 Spirit.
Our morning will begin in La Canada, then our group will depart on an approximately 45 mile scenic drive through Angeles Crest and Angeles Forest Highway, considered one of the top 5 greatest driving roads in the USA.
Note: If canyon roads are closed we will take an alternate route.
This event is strictly limited to 30 cars.
The cost is $35 per person*
*The proceeds will enable our club to make a substantial donation to the NEW Edwards AFB Flight Test Museum which is in construction at the Edwards AFB Main Gate.
(You will have an option to make an additional donation).
OPTIONAL LUNCH AFTER VISITING THE AIRPARKS
PLEASE NOTE:
TO PROTECT OUR FELLOW MEMBERS & GUESTS & THE MUSEUM STAFF & TO COMPLY WITH EDWARDS AFB & LOS ANGELES COUNTY GUIDELINES, ALL PARTICIPANTS WILL BE REQUIRED TO FOLLOW THE MUSEUM'S SAFETY PROTOCOLS TO ENABLE A SAFE ENVIRONMENT. FACE MASKS WILL BE REQUIRED WHEN OUTSIDE OUR CARS.
