Hyperion Plant Tour and Del Rey Yacht Club Lunch

Join us for a tour of the Hyperion Water Reclamation Plant, LA’s oldest and largest wastewater treatment facility. Learn what happens to everything that goes down the drain in residences and commercial facilities. Operating since 1894 with multiple expansions and improvements over the last 100+ years, you will see leading edge technological innovations that recover wastewater bio-resources used for energy generation and agriculture. Ask scientists questions in the on-site laboratory that monitors and tests process water, solids, and marine life, manages odor and emissions and protects the coastal environment.

The tour will be followed by a short drive to the Del Rey Yacht Club in Marina Del Rey where a buffet lunch will be served.

There will be dedicated, secure parking at both locations.

Due to plant requirements, the size of our group is limited to 30 people. Reservations are on a “First Come” basis, so please sign up before it is sold out.

When: Friday March 14th @ 8:30am @ the plant. 12:00pm for Lunch

Cost: $80.00 per person for the tour and the buffet lunch. Includes tax and service fees. Cash bar available for soft drinks, wine and beer.

Refunds: $10.00 cancellation fee by March 7th. No refunds thereafter.

Last day to sign up is the earlier of March 7th or when event sells out.
