Join us as we make the annual “Run to the Pines” to Pine Mountain Club in Kern County. New route this year!
This will be a two-group drive with one group leaving from Los Angeles and the other coming from our Central Coast Chapter, meeting up in the charming alpine village of Pine Mountain Club for a mini community car show and a no host lunch. There are several lunch options in the Village.
The Los Angeles Group will meet in the morning in Santa Clarita. (There are breakfast options in the immediate area). From there our 80+/- mile route will take us on a scenic tour past Bouquet Reservoir & Quail Lake, through Gorman and Frazier Park and then up Mt. Pinos to Pine Mountain Club.
The Central Coast Group will meet in the morning in Santa Maria for an 85+/- mile drive down Cuyama Highway and Hudson Ranch Road heading to Mt. Pinos and Pine Mountain Club.
Upon arrival, our groups will park for a mini car show for the community. From there you can visit the local shops and have lunch at one of the many restaurants in the Pine Mountain Club area. There are several hotels and Airbnb options for those that would like to spend the night.
This year we are asking for a $10 donation per person and will be donating to the local community school. We are limited to a total of 30 cars, so please register soon as this drive fills up. Drive information will be presented one week prior to the event.
