I am pleased to inform all members that our club is financially solid. Our membership has increased and is now one of the highest among the regions, not to mention one of the most active. We are vigorously pulling together to launch our 2002 National Meet.

Our Co-Chairmen, Wally Clark, along with Tom Brockmiller, and Marshal Leib are looking for members with hotel, restaurant, graphics, and security experience to help plan the necessary arrangements. Also, a committee, headed by Carolyn Quadt, is designing the official event logo.

The Century Plaza Hotel and the California Speedway have been secured for the event, as well as some preliminary sponsorship interests. We are looking for local and national sponsors.

If you have any contacts or can offer assistance, please call the Co-Chairmen. You can find their phone information listed next to the Calendar of Events. I am also looking for a committee chairperson to establish FCA Southwest Regional Chapters in Hawaii and Nevada.

As always, I invite you to join us at our board meetings, held at the Ramada Inn on El Segundo Boulevard. The dates and times are listed in the Calendar of Events.
